Scottish Minister visits Livingston

Livingston Bakery had a very special visitor on Wednesday 15th January, Jamie Hepburn, MSP, Scottish Government Minister for Business, Fair Work & Skills.

This visit was to publicise the establishment of the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland which was recently announced by the Scottish Government;

"NMIS is a £65 million, industry-led international center of manufacturing expertise led by Scottish Government in partnership with its enterprise and skills agencies. It is as a national facility for Scotland, where research, industry and the public sector work together to transform skills, productivity and innovation to attract investment and make Scotland a global leader in advanced manufacturing."

Livingston Bakery has, and continues to invest in new technology and skills and is keen to support MNIS.
