VEGANS REJOICE!
JAMMIE DODGERS HAS RETURNED TO ITS VEGAN-FRIENDLY STATUS AND GETS A MAKEOVER IN THE PROCESS!
A recipe change means our iconic biscuit no longer contains dairy;
- The plant-based revamp comes as the iconic biscuit brand gets a fresh makeover, supporting a recent surge in popularity
- The new vegan-friendly biscuits will appear in stores across the country throughout July 2020 and can be identified by the new pack design
- The upgrade is happening to both the standard sized and Jammie Dodgers minis!
Our iconic Jammie Dodgers has announced a recipe change that will mean it’s iconic jam-filled snack is 100% plant-based. Rejoice! Vegans were heartbroken when dairy was added to the biscuit some years ago. So we went ahead and changed the recipe to save millions of vegan taste buds from the tedious, limited selection of vegan-friendly biscuits.
The new plant-based Jammie Dodgers can be tracked down, across the country from w/c 13th July onwards. With it comes a new fresh design for the brand, which now calls out our ‘No Nasties’ message. Biscuit fans should keep their peepers peeled for a darker coloured packet design and vegan signage on the back of the pack to spot the all-new, dairy-free treats.
Kate Needham, our Marketing Director said:
“We have listened to our biscuit fans and are pleased to announce that we’ve moved once again to a dairy-free recipe. Family fun is at the Jammie heart of our brand, so it’s important to us that the whole family - and families of all lifestyles - can share a pack."
But that’s not all, with our household classic seeing a surge in popularity, you can expect to see lots more fun and mischief coming from the UK’s favourite Jammie biscuit brand going forwards! It’s an exciting time to be a Jammie Dodger fan.”
