Charity Football Tournament

We had a charity football tournament in Cwmbran on Saturday 3rd August 2019 in aid of Velindre Cancer Centre. It was a great day! 10 teams took part and played a total of 23 games. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all those who brought the event together, who played, volunteered and came to support. A big well done to the winning team as well, pictured below in the pink shirts!  Velindre is recognised as the leading Cancer Centre in Wales and every donation is welcomed, big or small!. Money raised in aid of Velindre is so valuable to them and some examples of what they have accomplished with donations include: Improvements to the First Floor Ward, Specialist Nurses, support for the Clinical Research unit and many other great areas.  From the generous donations of Employees and from those on the day at the Tournament we have so far raised £1016
