What is the main focus of your role?

You will work as part of the Service Desk team providing technical support to the business and its stakeholders, assisting with all IT/IS related problems and requests, and to support departmental projects, administration and procedures.

 

You will support colleagues across all our 7 locations in the UK and also Ireland. You get to experience supporting 1st & 2nd line support requests, this is a great role for you to get involved in 3rd line support projects as well as visit our other sites on bespoke projects where onsite support is required.

 

 

What knowledge do you need to have to be successful in this role?

The good news is that you don’t need loads of previous experience to be a success in this role, it would equally suit someone looking for their first role outside of their education or someone looking for the 2nd role in a Service Desk environment. 

 

Final Part of the Mix

We’re looking for someone who either has experience in a previous service desk or helpdesk role, or have a recent qualification i.e. College, HND/HNC etc in IS/IT, preferable a course with a focus on networking. 

 

Great communications skills are a must, as you’ll need to build key relationships with a number of functions.

Interview process

If you are shortlisted you will be contacted to complete an online test and to submit a video recording to some pre-set questions.
