Shift: Monday – Friday – Bakery Office Offers for part of the role. Although this role will be responsible for covering for the bakery QA teams for holiday and sickness cover. This will be a mixture of covering shifts that are 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm & 10pm-6am. So flexibility will be needed.
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Start Date: This is an extra addition to an already fabulous team, as such we are looking for someone to start with us in the new year. With an anticipated start date of the 10th January.

Everyone across Burton's Biscuits, takes a sense of pride in their baking, which means you’ll get to work with some fantastic people. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the quality management system to ensure that all relevant standards (e.g. BRC, HACCP, and Customer Code of Practice) are achieved. Implement food safety and quality strategies to increase bakery efficiency and meet performance criteria.
What does your typical day look like?
Supporting Technical team ensuring that Quality Technician role is covered at all times and all administration duties relating to Technical Projects are delivered in an accurate and timely manner.
Oversee both hard and soft document control. Co-ordination of technical information and specifications.
To work effectively and ensure that Food Safety, Integrity, Quality and Legality are maintained within the business.
What skills are needed to do this amazing role?
We are looking for someone who has experience of quality assurance or food hygiene, this could have been completed as part of a hands-on operational role and you are looking for career that is more focused toward QA, or more specialised role that worked alongside the quality assurance team.
You will need to have good administration skills, ideally a level 2 in food safety although we are more than happy to provide training.
Final part of the mix.
In this role you will work with almost all the functions within the bakery, great communication skills are essential.
You may have had previous experience in the following: Technical Administration, Food Quality, QA Assistant, Quality Assurance, Adminstrator, Food Operator etc.
