Location: Edinburgh

Hourly Rate: Competitive

Contract: Permanent

Hours:  10pm - 6am Monday - Saturday (40 hrs week)

Key responsibilities: 

To be successful in this role, we will be looking for the following qualities:

  • Previous experience within a dispatch or warehouse facility.
  • FLT or PPT license 
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Ability to work on own and still deliver key outputs.
  • Basic IT skills.


The duties are as follows:

  • Transfer pallets of stock into the warehouse from the factory floor using the Powered Pallet Truck, recording the intake on the SAP computer system to ensure traceability
  • Make optimum use of the racking areas facilitating easy retrieval of stock as requested by the Lead Warehouse Operator or Manager
  • Load trailers as specified by the Daily Production Load Sheet in a secure manner in preparation for safe transportation of product
  • Conduct safety checks and maintenance on machinery used within the warehouse department
  • Organise the pallet storage area ensuring a constant supply of pallets to the packing floor
  • Ensure the good housekeeping of the warehouse at all times

At the request of the Lead Warehouse Operative/Warehouse Manager, train new employees to a satisfactory standard

Please note, successful candidate will be expected to complete FLT Counter balance / PPT Truck licence Training to RTITB Standards .
