About the role:
AS the Site Engineering Manager you will have responsibility for the delivery of Burtons Mechanical & Electrical engineering strategy within our Blackpool bakery, which includes creating and delivering the annual engineering improvement plan, providing support to the site to deliver our annual and longer term objectives and as a member of the site leadership team contributing to the overall leadership of the site.

What are the key ingredients needed for the role?
We are looking for someone who has proven experience of leading an engineering function, driving change management and improvement strategies, ideally a FMCG environment (or similar environment) to improve overall site performance, with an excellent understanding on equipment reliability with focus on CBM.
You will need to be an inspiring leader, mentor, coach and manager, helping to inspire the next wave of Engineers.
Final part of the mix.
You will need to have an understanding of continuous improvement techniques and methodologies, it would be ideal to have some formal qualifications in this area but it isn’t essential.
