That’s right, we have an amazing opportunity to join our incredible Burton’s Biscuit family. We are looking for a Marketing Manager or Marketing Controller, to help take us on the next part of our journey, reporting directly to the Marketing Director.

Managing a small team of 5 you will be responsible for a portfolio worth over £50m RSV in the UK and for overseeing our International branded business in markets as diverse as Nigeria, Scandinavia, Australia and Russia. Some of the amazing brands your team will be managing are:

 

Wagon Wheels – One of the Nation’s most iconic biscuits

Paterson’s Shortbread – the UK’s No.1 Shortbread brand

Thomas Fudge’s – made in our small Dorset bakery using over 100 years baking experience, this is a super-premium sweet and savoury brand and home of our famous Florentine

Lyons – containing some household favourites including Viscount, ToffyPops, Fig Rolls and Jam Teacakes

 

We are looking for someone to inspire, lead, educate and motivate this team of talented and aspiring marketers, driving day to day business decisions as well as driving the commercial strategy for this portfolio. You’ll get plenty of access at Board Level, meaning you’ll be able to influence and drive changes quickly.

Another exciting part of your role will be managing our Social Media and Online Content team. This team will look after our social media channels as well as our corporate Burtons Biscuits Website. In this role you’ll help them to agree the right online strategy for each brand and ensure our corporate website is kept up to date and drives the right brand messages to our consumers and customers.

Location: Roughly split 60/40 between our Head Office, St Albans and working from home. Great flexibility offered.
