‘Why would you not want to?’ Is the question we should really be asking… you’ll get to work with some of the most talented people in the sector as well as some amazing brands & blue-chip clients.
In this key role you’ll provide the magic between the commercial team and our manufacturing teams, without you who knows what would happen. But with you, we’ll know that our clients will be able to get their stock on time, while ensuring our manufacturing sites are able to run seamlessly and on schedule.

Another part of your day might be spent reviewing surplus stock or stock shortages and making commercials decisions on how best to manage these.
The final part of your day might see you providing key reports to senior stakeholders both internally and externally, ensuring the business has a clear vision of what the next 24 months should look like, across our 500 SKU’s.
What are the key ingredients needed for the role?
This role would be great for someone to gain experience in the biscuit category, and would suit an existing Demand Planning Manager or an experience Supply Chain professional. Having managed teams before would be key.
Final part of the mix.
To be successful in this role at Burton’s you’ll have had experience in a planning role within the FMCG sector, ideally for a manufacture but we would take a look at candidates working in house in similar supply chain functions for retailers / Supermarkets (food sector experience is desirable but is not essential).
