As one of the UK’s biggest biscuit manufacturers, and certainly its most dynamic, we employ 2,300 employees across our 5 bakeries and our St Albans Head Office. 


Amongst our wide portfolio of brands are the iconic Maryland Cookies, Jammie Dodgers, Wagon Wheels and Paterson’s Shortbread as well as the Dorset based super premium Thomas Fudge’s brand.


We are looking for an experienced marketer with a proven track record of leading successful teams to drive profitable growth across a number of our best known brands, both sweet and savoury, and across various routes to market including multiple retailers, convenience and foodservice. 


The role will require someone with an entrepreneurial edge who is prepared to challenge the status quo. Someone who can enthuse both their team and the wider business with their passion, enabling us to capture the hearts and minds of all stakeholders, both internal and external. 


Reporting to the Marketing Director, this individual will lead a team to execute the brand strategy, engaging with the sales and operations teams to drive growth in the core business as well as delivering an exciting pipeline of insight led innovation.


You will be able to demonstrate successful marketing and brand building experience within a market leading FMCG organisation (food & drink preferable), be able to make an impact in a fast-moving business and be able to show that you can work at pace with a high level of accountability. 


Whilst you will have experience of managing ATL creative and media plans, you will be equally motivated by managing smaller budgets to create disruptive digital and social media campaigns driving engagement and brand loyalty.


You will have a strategic mindset and be able to maximise and create new opportunities with our existing and new licensors, be commercially and analytically aware and be comfortable developing and presenting business cases in an organisation which will invest in sound commercial opportunities.
