Within our Burton’s group, we have six bakery sites across the UK, located in Blackpool, Livingston, Edinburgh, Dorset, Isle of Arran and Llantarnam, with our head office in St Albans. In total we employ circa 2,100 people around across our locations.

What does your typical day look like?
You will take the lead on one of our top 4 Mults accounts and play a key role in driving new opportunities across the sweet & savoury biscuit category, along with gaining new listings through NPD.
Key actions will be but not limited to:
- To plan and execute budgeted volume and profit within a defined accounts and channels by pulling multiple levers including distribution, promotions and feature space.
- Develop customer specific strategies and tactics to deliver budgeted P&L, increase market share, and deliver customer JBP
- Negotiate all pricing, trading terms, promotions, fixed investments and any item with financial impact
- Landing the current in month forecast for tonnage, revenue, GC and TCAM
- Represent accounts within Burtons Biscuits, championing what is needed to be successful
What are the key ingredients needed for the role?
You will need previous experience working within a similar role with large scale customer experience at Senior National Account Manager or National Account Manager level within the retail channel and within food.
Ability & experience in driving NPD to leverage new opportunities and gain new listings within stores. Able to interpret key category & insights data, to ensure the account is driven in the right direction both internally & externally, to do this you will need to have strong influencing, negotiating and presentation skills.
It is highly desirable to have experience & knowledge of both branded and Private Label.
