What does your typical day look like?  

You will be reporting to the engineering manager, assist the duty engineer if required, carry out semi-skilled engineering tasks in the engineering workshop and production area. To work safely, effectively and ensure that food safety, integrity, quality and legality are maintained within the business.

 

Other key actions will be but not limited to:

- assist the duty engineer with engineering reactive and planned plant breakdowns when required to do so 

- Carry out tray rack and other semi-skilled repairs 

- complete all required health and safety documentation 

- Record and enter all required information on the Pirana system


 

What are the key ingredients needed for the role? 

You will need previous experience as a mechanical engineer and be able to identify and report damaged facility infrastructure carrying out the repairs of identified damage without instruction.

 

You will need to be confident with multi-tasking and understanding departmental priorities.

 

the role involves working rotational shifts .  0600-1400, 1400-2200 & 2200-0600
