What does your typical day look like?  

You will support the site engineering requirements and all associated equipment.  You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair on a diverse range of plant and equipement and will be expected to contribute effectively to all planned preventative maintenance across the bakery.


You will be responsible for the site Quality Management System, including maintenance and development, ensuring continued compliance to BRC grade A and customer green audit status requirements.

 


 

What are the key ingredients needed for the role? 

You will be a time served and qualified electrical engineer ( modern engineering apprenticeship SVQ 3 or equivalent) and ideally had previous experience in a fast moving / high volume manufacturing environment.

 

You will need to be confident with electronics/PLCs or pneumatics.  You must be able to be capable of installation , maintenance , test and repair of the equipment. Strong problem solving , fault finding , diagnostic skills using machine manuals and wiring programmes etc.
