Within our Burton’s group, we have 6 bakery sites across the UK, located in Blackpool, Livingston, Edinburgh, Dorset, Isle of Arran and Llantarnam, with our head office in St Albans. In total we employ circa 2,100 people around across our locations.

What does your typical day look like?
To identify and understand consumer insight to support the development of creative solutions which in turn drive consumer preference and presence of our brands. Ultimately to drive incremental revenues for the company and our customers.
Other key actions will be but not limited to:
- Lead the development of the 3 year vision & strategy brand plan with execution of key brand activities identified in the brand planning process.
- Deliver against agreed P&L KPI's
- Ownership of brand consumer spend management , ensuring timely reporting, tracking and supplier payment
- Lead the overall tracking and reporting of brand performance
- Lead the identification and implementation of cost based recovery initiatives, working closely with Finance Teams and Bakery sites
What are the key ingredients needed for the role?
You will need to be a well rounded project manager
You will need at least 5 years Senior Brand management experience and have led a 3 year development plan
You will need to be confident with strategy and brand positioning.
While a background in food would be an advantage, experience of other FMCG can also be taken into consideration.
