Within our Burton’s group, we have 6 bakery sites across the UK, located in Blackpool, Livingston, Edinburgh, Dorset, Isle of Arran and Llantarnam, with our head office in St Albans. In total we employ circa 2,100 people around across our locations.

What does your typical day look like?
The purpose of the role is to deliver budgeted volume, Revenue & Margin in designated customers through execution of business plans which focus on core range, NPD listings and activation , filling distribution gaps and promotional activity. The role is accountable for negotiating mutually beneficial business plans with key customers to help deliver.
Other key actions will be but not limited to:
- Deliver Budgeted financials across Brand and Retailer own brand
- Develop compelling business plans for assigned customers.
- P&L accountability for designated customers
- Carefully and judiciously manage trade spend to ensure full ROI
- Forecasting monthly , quarterly and annually
What are the key ingredients needed for the role?
You will need previous experience working in managing food retailer accounts either as an Account Manager/Executive or similar role.
You will need to be confident with using category insights to create a compelling selling story and to conduct reviews along with management of P&L's
